1080i and 720p in one timeline

I am about to shoot with Panasonic HVX200 and I would like to know if it´s possible to mix 1080i an 720p (because of slomo) in one timeline. I know that since MC 3.0 it should be no problem (even 720p) mixing resolutions but has anyone any experiences with it?

I do not believe this is supported yet.  The doc is a bit confusing.  So I could be wrong.  What they say is that you can now mix interlace and progressive in a timeline.  But not different frame rates.
