    Re: Boris messing with gfx quality

     Well then if this issue is restricted to only Boris FX, I would think an uninstall/reinstall of Boris is in order. I can't think of any other option off the top of my head.

     Just a shot in the dark, but have you selected "better quality field rendering" in Boris FX? Also check the input output options in Boris FX.

    Re: Boris messing with gfx quality

     I know, I know, but I have to ask;

    On your system, are the BCC effects installed in the C:\program files\Avid\AVX_plug-ins  folder ?  That's where they should be.... they should not be in the C:\program files\Avid Media Composer\AVX2_plug-ins  folder.

    NOTE:  I had the same "field" look to rendered BCC effects when I installed BCC (by mistake) into the C:\program files\Avid Media Composer\AVX2_plug-ins.  BCC does not belong there.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Boris messing with gfx quality

    Sorry guys, but we've already tried the re-install. No Joy.

    This is Boris Continuum Complete 4.2.2. All effects do go in the AVX 2 folder. If you move them to AVX 1, the menus cease to appear in Avid, the icons go blank and BCC FX no longer work. They're all AVX 2.

    There aren't any render or I/O options other than what Avid provides.

    It appears everyone is stumped by this one. Can that be true??

    And you're sure it's not the Open GL issue?
