1080i and 720p in one timeline

I am about to shoot with Panasonic HVX200 and I would like to know if it´s possible to mix 1080i an 720p (because of slomo) in one timeline. I know that since MC 3.0 it should be no problem (even 720p) mixing resolutions but has anyone any experiences with it?

Re: 1080i and 720p in one timeline

     Hi

I've been editing a bunch of footage aquired on the EX1 at 1080p and 720p as they wanted to do some slow mo too. I've not had any problems or issues. I'm pretty sure I also ended up using a tiny bit of 1080i mixed in too.

    Should be fine.

    Dual 2.7GHz G5 | 5GB RAM | SIIG Firewire 400 | MC 2.8.3 | Mojo SDI | 2x 23" ACD [view my complete system specs]

If it ain't broke, don't touch it!

    Thank you for your reply.

I am working on a 1080p Project at the Moment. The Footage was shot with EX1 as well and I mixed 1080p with interlaced SD Material without any problems.

I just want to make shure this works with 1080i and 720p as well.

    Any other experiences?
