    Mine's working, too.  Upgraded from Xpress Pro to MC with no trouble, loaded all the cool extras with no trouble, and happily running on my totally unqualified HP laptop (a dv9605ea, for those of you curious).  Cool

    Nothing but positive results here as well. Upgraded from AXP and I'm lovin' it! Running fine on un-approved system but with mostly approved parts. Seems to be faster, better responsiveness, more stable that AXP, and much better HDV performance. I had to downgrade from Vista to XP but not because of Avid; Adobe CS2 was a total glitch-fest in Vista. I don't blame either Adobe or Microsoft however. OS's must move on and CS2 was released proir to Vista. Just one of those things.

    All-in-all having a great experience with MC 3!!

     Mine too.

    Does anybody noticed that the import time for quicktime MOVs (avid codec of course) has EXTREMLY increased? MOV with 5 sec lenght: less then a second import time. MOV with 1 min lenght: less then a second, too.

    Not bad.

    import time  has EXTREMLY increased?
    By that you mean that the import time has decreased, right? As in that it now takes less time?

    Decreased here for sure.  I like it because I'm not waiting so long for the import--I hate it because I get shorter coffee breaks.  Big Smile

    Hi Editors:

                       MC 3.0 is working perfectly on my HP NW 9440 power laptop ! Yes We're pumping out video and all is well. I use the old Analogue MOJO and all is well with it too.

    Upgraded to Media Composer from Avid Xpress Pro and now at MC 3.0.5, but had to roll back to 3.0.0. Also added Avid Studio Toolkit 5.7 running on.....HP... [view my complete system specs]

    The thing is don't peak too early in life. Currently at MC 3.0
