IS THERE A WAY TO RECOVER DELETED MEDIA FILES?
THANKS.
Hi,
First, please don't type in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
Second, yes, you can recover deleted media files by batch capturing or batch importing them. If the media came from a tape, use batch capture (this assumes you still have the tapes, and that they were captured with timecode). If the media came from a file, use batch import.
Look up batch capture and batch import in the manual or online help for details about these procedures.
good luck,Carl

Sorry and thanks....yes i aware about batch capture and batch import.....but i am asking abt recovering it from the hard disk.
If you have deleted the actual OMFI and/or MXF associated media files without back-ups or "mirroring", I'm afraid the answer is no. Your only option is to re-capture or re-import from the original media sources, as Carl pointed out.

Or invest in undelete aka recovery software tedious, no guarantees and time consuming (not to mention costly )
