What is the difference between version 2.8.4 and version 3.0.1?

(for someone who is still on Mac OS X v10.4.11)

You could download the ReadME for both and see what's been added in 3.0.1...  I know that it has a few more effects and other little enhancements, etc.

 Or the smarta$$ in me would say "about 0.1.7"

3.0.1 is much, much more responsive than 2.x. Plus you get SubCap and a multi-burnin generator, the ability to move multiple segments over multiple tracks rather than one by one, Thin Raster support, Frame Rate Mix & Match, Enhanced effects editor, Clear Render feature, Improved P2 support, AVC-Intra support.
