I recently just move from the Windows version of Avid to the Mac version and I'm trying to figure out the best way to manage how Avid stores its files.
In windows, I created a batch file that would mount a folder as a drive. That way I could separate the projects/clients into different folders and when I needed to work with that project, run the batch file and the folder would mount as a drive (And the OMFI files would be at the root).
Is there a way to do this, or something similar on the Mac?
Ideally I would like to keep my projects/clients in separate folders (Then load them when I'm ready), but I haven't figured out how to do something like that in the Mac. Only solution at the moment is to copy/rename a folder so Avid sees it.
