    Purple and green break up, in my experience, is often indicitive of a tape problem.

    Might be worth cleaning deck heads too.

     That's the weird thing.

    The deck has had a total clean-up a week ago, and a new firewirecard.(cost me a fortune)

    After I had succes this morning with a brand new tape, the purple and green break started to reappear...
