Are you running gigabit ethernet?  Is your firewire card in the third slot from the bottom? From your description it seems clear, but are you running any firewire devices?

    How are they connected?

You name it, I've seen it. [view my complete system specs]

I think the generally accepted config is to run the Mojo of the mboard's firewire port and any external drives off the card. FW Card must be on a separate PCI segment (to mb fw and network and any scsi storage). I'd also try swapping cables if nothing else works. Must be a TI OHCI set as well.

running Mojo SDI out of third slot from the bottom...this PCI card has 3 firewire connections I am using only one for the Mojo. I have an Ethernet cable (internet)also, and I am using a (besides my old LVD drives using the back connection (B) of the HP) a 500 GB Lacie using USB 2.0 and a small Lacie 125 GB using the firewire in the back of HP. Must be a TI OHCI set as well....? please explain when you can, thank you.

TI = Texas Instruments (chipset manufacturer)

Please reverse your configuration and run the Mojo from the onboard firewire and the hard drives from the outboard card and try a new firewire cable.
