I've enabled audio waveforms and see them fine. But when the timeline is set to "Scroll While Playing," the waveform plots disappear while the squence plays. When playing stops, the waveforms are redrawn.
I imagine this behavior is legacy from the days when drawing the waveforms on the fly would overtax the CPU & GPU. But certainly those days have been long gone.
So I would very much like MC to display audio waveforms during timeline scrolling.

Which hopefully will end the long yearning for nesting audio effects.
And expanded routing/bussing, RT dynamics, better multitrack handling, etc.
