BLkdog, I know you are tired and I am sorry for asking.  I am sd until the end of the year.  Is apple working with you at all about the firewire issue?  or are they being arses?   I only need this for 3-6 more months and I know i screwed up ( I has no clue 3.0.1 for tiger was coming) but the dye has been cast.  leapard, 3.0 and a lot of wonderful avid people along the way.  Is there hope, short terrm? 3-6 months?

This error is not something that Avid needs to work with Avid on at all. It's just a fundamental problem in their FW code that affects a lot of people. Aja says they have they same problem (Though I haven't seen it yet). So, it's all Apple's timetable on when its fixed.

Any word yet if this Leopard rev. might address the FW bug?
