ReLink media originally shot on Hard Drive using an EDL

I have an EDL of a program but the media was shot on a Hard Drive.

In the past I could easily use the EDL Manager and batch capture tool to grab eachclip I needed from the tapes.

Here is the scenario,  A 3 camera shoot was shot on Hard Drives from each camera.  The event was almost an hour long so I have 3 very long QT files.  An EDL was created from an non Avid off line system.

Now how do I relink these clips to the files once I import the media into Avid

Is it easier if I tell them to shoot using the Avid media selection on these Focus type field drives?

    Thanks

    Chris

Open the QuickTime files with MetaCheater, add the correct tape name to the clips and save an ALE. Import the ALE into a bin, select the clips and batch import the QuickTime files. This will merge time code and tape name to the QuickTime file.
