We just updated our Command and I have notice one annoying difference. On the previous version we could play a Deko full screen to air and leave it in program, we could then re-cue the same graphic and play it out again and the motion would just transition the layer in and out. In the new version we can play the graphic to program but if we try to cue it again the graphic will erase from the program screen and cue.
This is a problem for a few reason, mostly if the operator gets a little punchy and hits the enter key two times the graphic will play out (TD will put it in) and then it will dip to black and re-cue and play again. This causes our directors to have a heart attack.
Is there a setting that I can change to cure this or is this how the new version works.

Hi there, I wanted to clarify for you the designed behavior for iNEWS Command (current version being 1.1.1):
If you re-cue a different graphic than what is in program, the graphic in program remains and the graphic in preview is recued.
If you recue the same graphic that is in program it will leave program and get cued in preview.
Does this still create an operational issue for you?
Thanks,
Teicia
Yes, your reply is accurate and YES it does create an operational issue.
All of our full screen graphics have reveals. For example, a full screen with 5 bullet points will have 5 pauses to reveal each point. Sometime the show requires that we fly through these reveals and get to the next graphic. If we hit the Enter key too many times before the graphic has finished revealing OR if we try to get to the next graphic before Command has moved to the next graphic (seems to have a lag) it will then replay the current graphic, therefore taking the program to black on air. Old version would NOT go to black, it would just transition the same graphic into program.
Also, this new version does not allow you to play multiple channels at the same time. Example, I play a super on Channel 1, a picture on Channel 2 and an OTS on Channel Three. (Assume all have NO Pauses) The old version would allow you to hit play on 1, 2 then 3 and all would play out. The new version allows you to hit play on 1, and then wait for 1 to finish, then play 2, wait for 2 to finish, and then play 3. This is an issue during a live broadcast because sometimes we need to get thing on multiple channels faster than Command will allow.
Any Solutions?
