Hi,
Welcome. In order to help you, we need to know a lot more details.
good luck,Carl
There is no such thing as a video emergency. My Demo Website
off the top of my head the first thing i would think about is the workspace size. Do you have enough space? Maxing out a unity workspace is like filling up a media drive, you dont do it, the database wont have enough space to load. Also, search on here for file / folder count limits, its been gone over many times.
Also, to be more precise, ya gotta fill out the system info and give us a clue. Its like taking your car in for service and not even knowing what dealer to take it to. By posting this in the storage forum, you could be talking about local or shared.

We definitely need your system specs, but in the meantime this error points back to the database. So it's time to do a database rebuild. Quit the app, open your OMFI MediaFiles folder (if present) and your Numerical folders inside the MXF folder inside the Avid MediaFiles folder, sort the contents by date bringing the most recent to the top and delete the two files that identify by type as "MSM Media Database". On re-launch, the system will detect the missing files and build new ones at the "Initializing Media Streams Manager" stage of the boot-up. If these files became corrupted, this should solve your problem.
