okay to mix standard and advance pulldown?

Avid Help says: For NTSC projects, you can mix footage transferred with pulldown and footage transferred without pulldown (video rate).

But can you also mix footage with Standard pulldown and footage with Advance pulldown?

I'm wondering because this project is going to be shot 1080pA but there will also be archival material which will need the standard pulldown.

    Thanks,

    Brad

Yes, they can all be mixed together. The pulldown cadence is only how it is recorded to the NTSC tape format. Once captured into a 23,976 project all cadences have been removed, regardless of type so they all run at the same rate no problem.
