Hello
I have a Mac Pro running 10.4.11 with an AJA Kona 3 PCI card and the full FC Studio.
I got a demo version of MC 3.0.1, connected a MOJO SDI and can't get any video I/O. I uninstalled the Kona driver and still nothing. In Avid, the Video output/input options are blank.
Anyone knows how to work this out?
Thanks,
Oren
When you start Avid, hold down the shift key to disable the Kona card's desktop functions (At least I had to last year when I had this combo). See if that helps.
Is the Mojo connected to the CPU's internal FW 400 port? Do you see a host light on the Mojo?

Hi
Yes, the HOST lamp is lit, and yes, it's connected to the rear FireWire connection.
I tried to hold the shift while Avid starts and still nothing.
Thanks
Hi again
I see now that in the Audio Project settings, in the hardware tab, the Avid sees a MOJO SDI.
So i guess the Avid recognizes the MOJO after all. So how come no Video I/O, and no RS422?
Is your video input set to DNA-1394?
Problem Solved
Well, there wasn't really any problem with the Avid or MOJO, the problem was ME!
I created a 1080/24p project, MOJO doesn't do that, at least the I/O. I switched to PAL and NTSC and all is good. I got used to working on film projects...
Thanks anyway
