Hey everyone,
I'm having a major issue with importing high resolution footage from XDCAM using a decomposed sequence currently, and the error message I've been getting is making little to no sense for me. I can't find any literature or information about it either, so I figure this is the best place to get some answers (and hopefully a solution):
The error message itself is this: Exception: SMReturnTapeMobOffset: sourceMob editrate (30) does not match tc editrate (24)
The footage is all 23.976 framerate, HD, in a proper sequence as well. Yet this error is coming up when we attempt to change the tape names (Modify source), as our injester applied them back when we were doing digitizing.
Any thoughts on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
mmm... looks like the source is 30 fps and your project (tc) 24 fps?

Afraid not, sorry. The footage is all XDCAM footage shot at 23.976, and the sequence/project settings are identical to it. So when I go to modify the Tape label (as we used to do digitizing for these XDCAM discs, but not since we've gone purely tapeless/digital), it continues to give this error message for every file I try and modify.
Am I stuck, or is there any method of modifying these clips?
I've attached disk labels properly to the imported XDCAM files, and I can batch import them fine; but, when I go to relink the files from the main sequence, it tells me that nothing was relinked (which is as far as I can tell due to the original tape relation when they were first digitized in).
