I'm having problems to digitize to my storage media drive. It appears greyed out.
I was capturing to that drive without problem last week and now it's not available anymore.
I think this might happened after I checked "Filter out launch drive". But when I deselected that option once I saw that was not available anymore, the drive kept greyed out.
I've checked the media creation settings now, and in drive filtering and Indexing nothing is marked.
I can only digitize or import in System drive (Macintosh HD)
What could have happened?
This media drive is an external storage connected to a highpoint Sata controller.
Any help or advice appreciated.

Make sure that "Filter Network Drives by Resolution" is not checked as well.
Also, tell us a little more about the storage...what is it and how is it connected?

Hi BLKDOG!
Nothing is filtered on media creation settings.
The drive Storage is an external 4 SATA II 500GB in RAID 0 connected to a Highpoint RocketRaid 2322 card.
The weird thing is that it was working flawlessly las week. No software upgrade, driver installation, update has happened.
Ok, let's try the easy stuff first. Delete the MCState files (Both of them) and your site settings file.
If that doesn't work, test with a new project and a new user. Let us know if that solves anything.
I've done everything you said and the drive is still grayed out.
Shoud I try unninstall and reinstall?
Before you do that - try opening the "Console" and typing: alldrives
I've had troubles in the past with MC disabling drives when I clicked on Filter, and then not seeing them after I turned it back off. This may be enough to kick MC into seeing the drive again.
Found the problem! The Drive user permissions were changed to read only.
Could this be caused by Avid when I changed media creation settings?
Thank you all for your help.
Agustin.
