I am working on a show that has a massive amount of stocks where all the files have been imported as Quicktimes with unique names that identify them (like "istock000000234567") and was wondering if there was a way to get the AVID to create a list for me that I could print out? Thios would make the ordering process much easier and I can avoid having to go through the sequence, cut by cut, to list them all manually.
I was thinking about Decomposing the sequence, but am not sure if that is the right thing to do.
Help as always will be appreicated.
If you're on v3.0, you can use the DumpSourceSummary command in the Console.

If you're not running v3, copy your sequence, then decompose selecting imported clips only (not captured), this will create a complete list of imported clips, including GFX and SFX etc... But if you know all your clips start the same way, you can simply ignore them.
There's another way using Set Bin Display, but the first way should work.

Thanks, I figured it was Decompose, but was not sure of there was some cool Composer function that I was unaware of.
