Sorry this might be really simple, but I'm struggling to export an OMFI from Avid. I know how to do it in FCP, but really struggling to find it in Avid. Could anybody please help?

file>export>omf 2.0 unless you are in an HD project where OMF 2.0 is not an option

Make sure the Media Creation and audio settings are set to OMF, not MXF, otherwise, there will likely be no OMF export option.
