    Error message: cannot edit a read-only track

    Hey- Im editing on a MC ver.2.5.3 on a mac os 10.4.6. I keep getting the above message when using the xtract tool. Ive never seen it before. Any thoughts/suggestions Thanks Brian

     It sounds like the clip your are trying to extract is locked. Right click on the clip in it's bin and make sure "unlock bin selection" is active. If that doesn't work, it may be a permissions issue. Here are details on setting permissions.
