Possibly by just registering your product.  I have several connections to Avid, and have for many years, so I don't always know which one triggered a communication.

Hmmm ... that's mostly for the DLC notifications.  The e-mail I got was more from marketing (I think).  Perhaps an Avid employee will clear it up.

Send Marianna an e-mail at: Marianna_Montague@avid.com.  She'll get you straight... that's what she does.  Also, sometimes these types of e-mails go into spam... did you check there?  Maybe you gotta white flag those puppies so they can get through your super tight e-mail security system...

Let me add a little more confusion into all this . .If I download the 3.0.1 version to run with my DNA devices, will I still be able to get the Leopard version once the bug is worked out? I only ask because there's now a deadline. I would have waited for the patch.

That's still unknown because no one knows when that fix is coming as it relies, a lot, on Apple.

Why should it matter once you have updated your dongle to 3.0 as you can download the software of v3.0 or 3.01 at any time?
