    remote problem

     i have media composer 2.8.1

    i cant remote my deck(betta) because  avid canot recognize COM1 orCOM2,and

    how can i know if that avid problem Or pc problem

    and how can i fix it

     Have you gone into your deck configuration settings and attempted to add a channel, or if one was already there, did you try deleting it and adding a new channel?

    No, i bet you didn't.

    Did you try another programm to see wether the problem is related to your hardware or your software? Did you confirm your deck and cables are fine at another system?
