In case you missed it, here is a link describing the Avid Media Composer - Quick Start Tutorials.

Luckily, I got the boxed version of MC3.The DVD was included. If you got that DVD and you are a relative novice to MC I would suggest that you watch it!
It is probably the best set of Tutorials I have ever seen on MC for newcomers (and short term users).Well that is with the exception of my own tutorials (Joke! ....)
Apart from being extremely well produced, I found that the more relaxed pace made it much easier to gather loads of information about the basics and also about many of the "shortcuts" to getting things done in MC.
Very nice, Avid!

Do you really want to know what's wrong...or do you just want me to fix it?

Dou itashimashite !
While we are talking Japanese I might as well tell you about a pleasant "incident" that happened here last week.As you probably have gathered I spend my days 1.Teaching English and 2.Working with short videos about Japan.Together with my Japanese wife we have a combined Classroom/Studio.
Last week I was having a "Trial lesson" with a prospective new student. When I was asking her about what she did it emerged that, although she was now working in Kumamoto University, she had been an editor in a small production company near Tokyo.Oh, I said, what did you edit with?Media Composer! she replied.
Nice to get a new student who wants to learn English and, at the same time, can maybe give me some tips on Media Composer!
For some I reason I didn't get a tutorial-dvd when I upgraded to MC 3.0.
Any chance to order it or so?
