    Scrolling an imported .jpg image

I'm working on scrolling end credits for a short film.  I'm doing the text in Marquee, with no problems.  The thing I need help with is scrolling images.  The images I have are .jpg files.  When I import them into Marquee, I can't create a scroll because Marquee seems to only want to do this with a text box.  Is there a workaround for this?

I was thinking I could create a 3D PIP transition to bring the still title (I created a still title with the imported images) up from the bottom along the Y axis, and then out through the top along the Y axis.  I'm having difficulty figuring out how to use the 3D PIP effect however (I'm not an editor, can you tell?  this is my first project using Avid Xpress Pro).

Can anyone help me figure this out?  Thanks!!!

When you're in effects mode, there will be a triangle at the right and left hand sides along the bottom of the composer image. These are the beginning and end keyframes of the clip. Click the triangle o the left, the begging keyrame, turning it pink. Then in the effects editor open "position" and drag the "y" slider until your pip disappears on the bottom  of the screen. next, click the right side triangle, The ending keyframe, turning it pink, and drag that same "y" slider 'til the pip disappears on the top of the screen. As long as you haven't made any changes to "x" the pip will come up from the bottom, and go  off at the top in a straight line.

    Good Luck.
