Can I mark a video at the points I want chapters and have them picked up in my DVD-authoring program (dvd-lab 2.0) I go from Avid to Sorenson to DVD-Lab.

Side question: DVD-lab keeps telling me to "close the GOP" I can;t find where that setting is to close it in Sorenson.

With DVD Lab you can type your Chapter point timecodes into a notepad file and import them directly into the program.(Movie drop down menu and Import chapters)

latest version of DVD lab it is just an annoying pop up that you can cancel out of. Glosed GOP's are usefull only for more accurate chapter points.  Most encoders seem to do a worse job of encoding if you select close the GOP's. Dont use Sorenson for MPEG encoding so cannot help with the setting.
