I have a project that was started in Avid. The project is technically finished. The client wants to move it over to Final Cut Pro for archiving as well as any updates they may want to do down the road. So they will need the timeline. They recently purchased an FC system.
Is there an easy way to do this? Is there a way to work back and forth from Avid to Final Cut? I'd hate to loose a client to Final Cut. I am trying to avoid having to get a Final Cut system. It seems a lot of new clients are requiring that I know Final Cut. I have turned down way too many clients lately. I am willing to learn, but it would be great if there was a way to collaborate with FC users in Avid.
Any Advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.
The absolute easiest way is Automatic Duck.

Not my first choice for archiving! Not unless they're prepared to archive their version of FCP with it.
