So I am trying to learn MC on a friends system and he is not available right now so I thought I would ask all of you helpful people. I have been using Xpress for years and in that program lets say I want to move A1 and A2 back a few seconds, I would just hit a key on my keyboard or the red arrow icon and I could select my individual track or shift select multiple tracks and drag them where I want them, how the heck do I do this in MC, I looked in the help file but still cant figure this out. Thanks in advance.
First make sure that you are not in effects mode.
Then at the bottom of your timeline video you have your red and yellow arrows. Select the one that suites your needs (yellow - Splice-in, red - Overight). Then you should be able to move your tracks freely on their track.
Personnally I think it would be better to go into trim mode and select only one side of the clip/clips and move them accordingly.
I hope I have answered your question.
Mike
