MC 2.8.3 on Leopard

Can anybody tellme if MC 2.8.3 running on Leopard is a supported coniguration. I know MC 3 has to run on Leopard not sure about 2.8.3.

how about 2.8.3 with quicktime 7.5? if not, what's the highest version of quicktime one can use?

And still be qualified, it's 7.4.1.
