    Nick,

There should be no performance difference.  I frankly think OS Tiger is a better OS than Leopard currently.

I can vouch for there being no performance difference.  I just have been playing around with it some today.

Have a problem with one project but it just affects closing and saving bins.  I have a feeling that the project is corrupt.  Stupid project.

Ok guys... do we get Power PC compatibility? I only see Intel's listed in the requirements? Are we gonna be able to run this on G5's?

     Fish,

Never say never.......  we ddnt antipicate the issue right befoe release and contnue to work it with Apple.  This was an effort to provide some level of compatibility and functinality on Tiger so folks could use thie 3.0 with their Mojo, Mojo SDI or Adrenaline.

    Hello all,

any issue regarding 3rd party plugins? (Plugins like BCC, Digital Film Tools, 55mm, zMatte...)

Is it safe to upgrade to 3.0.1?

    Thanks.

    Thanks Marianna!

I just want to know if my DNA box suddenly became completely obsolete.

I can see (and already have seen) the writing on the wall with regards to the DNA box. I just don't want to  be forced into it because of an OS compatibility issue and with very short notice. Gimme a year and I'll be shilling out for a new box.

My current DNA configuration gives me everything I "need". But I also would like to keep up with OSX releases so I can maintain functionality with my other apps.

Re: MC 3.0.1 is ready for download (Tiger release!)

I've bought an upgrade from Xpress to Media composer 3.0 Now I'm trying to download the 3.01 version from http://www.avid.com/register/30_cpr_form.asp, and get the folowing error after inserting the inrformation required:

"We’re sorry! The system ID you entered is not valid for this upgrade offer. You may wish to re-enter your system ID below in case of an initial entry error."

Maybe the system ID is still linked to Xpress pro instead of MC.

    How can I get 3.01?

    Thanks.

    BLACK!!!!!

THE G4 IS A COMPUTER!!!!! a normal mix of talking heads and silicon. I hate people that goes fast and furious! That every 5 months change computer just to be on TOP. I think that if a good software can run in a slow machine is better than a software ready only for rock and roll machine!!!!

G4 and MC 3.0.1 can work together now, this is the good news, tha bad news is that MC 3  is not working on faster machine....yet!!!!

BLACK your humor is always appreciated, but remember, people like to win the contest with little, if you have a Ferrari, for sure you will win!
