    Startup Modifiers - Media Composer, NewsCutter and Symphony

    List of keys that can be held down on startup to change the Avid Media Composer, Avid NewsCutter or Avid Symphony system's behavior.

     

    1. L + O Keys on Startup - forces video playback to desktop using the legacy overlay mode

    1. F + X Keys on Startup - Disbales the FX Subsystem

    1. C + M Keys on Startup - Forces a reset of the Site_Atributes file, which holds tapedeck configurations

    1. Option Key When Opening a Project - Forces all bins to be closed when the project is opened
