Trying to finish a short film tomorrow in 2k on ver 8.4 ds. One problem i cam across is that anytime i used the scratch removal tool or graphics tool, i have found that it clips the luma!! Big problem when working at 2k. Has anyone come across this and maybe found a way turn the clipping off. Any help would be great , need to finish tomorrow. Thanks
I think it's dead....
The graphics effect clip the signal .....end of the story .....
What kind of sequence are u using ???
Its a full aperture 2k 4:3 sequence.
Thats a major fault for working in 2k! Hope they sort it out.
I've not seen this on any 2K conforms I've done. However, maybe my workflow is different from yours. Are you rasterizing the strokes or leaving them vector? Are you rendering 8, 16 or 32 float?

I dont think its a render issue, I can see the clipping as soon as a place a brush stroke on the image.
What kind of lut do you use? I was told that the ds does not support 3d luts, is this the case?
I had to use a 1d lut, so my pictures did not reflect the graded files.
Have you tried to render? Maybe that would remove the clipping.
