I constantly upgrade and build new gameing rigs so i just got the new media composer 3.0 and put it on my old gameing system and it works! So if anybody have some questions or tests they would like me to run go ahead and post.

Yes you do. If you want a solid editing system. If you want to live on the edge and deal with problems as they come up THEN you don't need an Avid approved system.

I can also confirm that MC 3.0 works fine on a cheap DELL DIMENSION 9950 (or 9150, don't remember).
Graphics card is a nVidia 7300 LE and a ATI Radeon card (for second monitor).
Has been working fine for 1,5 years without any problems, and now also with 3.0 software on XP.
maybe you do maybe you don't, hard to tell without trying it and extensivly testing it in all the different ways possible. Sometimes MC doesn't run properly on Avid approved workstations, we wouldn't need forums if they did? Just the manual on how to use them.
