Part of P2 Media clip offline after consolidation

I've imported P2 media from my local storage, and then used File > Import P2 > Media to consolidate the media to a Unity workspace.  All the clips are now available in the workspace, with the exception of one clip that spans across two cards.  The last half of this clip shows Media Offline.  I've brought in the card media seperately into seperate bins eg. Card 1 Tuesday,  Card 2 Tuesday etc.  The way I know that this clip spans across two cards is that it appears in both bins after import.  IAs a workaround 'm currently capturing the missing footage in via SDI from the portable P2 recorder that it was recorded on.

Any ideas on how to fix the imported media?  This is a recurring issue.

Using MCA 2.8.3 Windows and an AJ-HPM110 P2 recorder.

Re: Part of P2 Media clip offline after consolidation

    Hi,

When importing P2 cards, always make sure you import the whole span at a time. E.g. if a recording spans 3 cards, make sure that all 3 cards are in the reader, then import "Clips to bin" (you'll see a duration/name change of the clip, depending on the order of which you import the cards)

When the meta-data from all 3 cards have been imported, you can then choose only to "Import Media" for the clips you need.

    Best Regards,

    Kim
