Just downloaded Vers 3.0 Upgrade from 2.8. Having problem with Mojo SDI box not working with the new software. Just looked on Forum and found that it is not compatible with Vers 3.0 on 10.5.3 mac. It would have been better to have this information displayed at point of purchase on the Avid downloads page as it is rather crucial in determining whether to purchase it or not. Now I have SDI work waiting without a SDI in out - or monitoring !

Any clues when this will be fixed ? In the meantime what are my options to get up and running (and earning) again ? Can I install 10.4.11 on my second internal Mac drive on my MacPro and then run MCsoft 2.8 again on that ? Is this easier than trying to set up bootcamp version of MCsoft on my MacPro ?

That's your best option - though if you have a 2008 MacPro, it might prove difficult. Your dongle will happily allow to run any version below the one it's blessed for.

I don't have a Mojo, so I'm wondering... I know it's not officially supported, but are people (who don't have a Mojo or other DNA add-ons) successfully running MC3 on Leopard 10.5.3?

Since that's the version that supported for 3.0 Malcolm.....uh...Yup!

Wow... and I thought you were going to slap me down for wanting the latest OS.

For some reason I thought it was 10.5.2 that was supported.  Glad I was wrong.
