Getting rid of filler at the end

I've asked this question before, and all I got was, "Look it up in the manual."  Well, I don't have access to my manual at the moment, so some help would be appreciated.

I've just edited my video, and it has an extra minute or two of blank space at the end.  I can't seem to get rid of it.  I select all of the filler area and hit delete, but it doesn't do anything.  I hate having this dead space at the end of my video.

How do I get rid of it?

Easy. Just mark an in and out defining the filler you want to get rid of and press the "X" key with the scissors on it. Make sure all tracks are active.

"I don't have access to my manual at the moment"

Sure you do.  Press the F1 key for the built-in HELP.  It contains everything in the manual.

Meanwhile, select all tracks, mark an IN and an Out to surround the Filler.  Press "X".
