Hey everyone. So I am having a bit of a problem. I went to open up my project this morning and it is not in the list of projects where it should be. I looked in the drive where all of my projects are stored and it is still there. I can open up another project and then access all the bins from the "missing" project, but the project does not exist on my avid. Is there a way to get this back on there? I tried to create a new project but it said my project alread exists, yet it wont bring it up for me. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
The reason for missing your project is probably the wrong selection of private/shared or external in the "Select project" window.
After Avid start, in the "Select project" window, first select EXTERNAL from private/shared/external. Then navigate at folder (second line from the top of the window) to the place, where your project is placed. Selecting your project, you can start directly, selecting the folder wherein the project is placed you will see all projects inside and you can select and start yours.

What is editing? It´s the process of transforming a collection of badly focussed or horribly framed shots containing reversed screen directions, flare and dirt into a smooth visual statement of the script... ... for which the director takes the credit!
Thank you for your response. But that was how I was trying to select it in the first place. I tried it again after your post. When I pull up the project that is missing from my project list, it brings up 5 subfolders. WHen I open those up, it does show my bins, but as avid unity bins, not as my regular project.
Perhaps something got corrupted, or someone tried to rename or move the project within Windows...but no worries.
Just create a new project, copy your bins into it, and away you go! The project file is the LEAST important of all of the files that MC creates.
