Turnkey SNDX and After Effects CS3 Redraw Issues

    xw8600 / nVidia 3700 / 4GB RAM / SN v3.0 / Nitris DX  (Turnkey System)

    Running XP32 -

In addition to Symphony (and bundled apps), I've installed:

    Sorenson Squeeze

    Avid DVD

    Sony Vegas

    Autodesk Combustion

    Adobe CS3 Production Premium

Here's the weird thing:  everything seems to be running okay, except After Effects.

I'm getting very very slow UI response. Incredibly slow redraw times.  Render times are fast, just operating the actual program takes forever.  Click-wait-wait-wait while scrubbing through the timeline.   Tried turning off OpenGL, even removing the AE_OpenGL Extension entirely.  No help.

Re-installed twice, Rebooted a bunch.  Still using the Qualified nVidia driver (169.47) and haven't mucked with any settings in the nVidia Control Panel.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help.

Check task manager while this is happening.  See if you can find a process thats cranking.

This a supported config for AE?

    ACSR

    Media Composer, Symphony, DS, Unity
