Greetings all,
In the Readme for MC 3.0 the required video driver is 169.47. Well, I tried to install it and it quits out and says "Operating system not supported", or something to that effect. The name of the file even says ".../WIN2KXP/..." I think I have the current ReadMe version... I tried the KB as well...
So, I'm using driver 169.96 and it seems to work OK but I do get some cursor ghosting type errors. You all know the type, where a cursor leaves copies of itself behind.
Does someone know what the official tested driver for Vista is? Or is it the card maybe? I'm using a PNY FX 1700.

Hey towerfan you're installing the XP driver when you're specs show you're running vista.
In the utilities folder there are three flavors Vista 32,Vista64,Xp32.

Yes, I know, hence the post.
The one place I didn't check is the installed utilities folder. I'll try that.
