    problem with record monitor.

    when i play the contents of my timeline i can only hear audio. the record monitor is frozen. whaat's the deal?????

     Well, what are your system specifications? Are you running a qualified graphics card? That's the most likely cause.

     as Larry said and/or it could be you have some of your windows overlapping eachother.
