    BCC manuals?

I know they must be available somewhere...the $495 upgrade to 3.0 includes BCC 5.x.x, which is great, but I can find no central place, either on the Avid site or the Boris site where something other than a massively chopped-up collection of bits and pieces of pdf's and tutorial crumbs can be found. (Avid FX -- Boris Red -- can be a similar problem, but my old Studio had an AvidFX book...ok for me, but for who else?)

Anyone know where the mother lode is?  An Avid search turns up nothing under appropriate user guides.  (At this point, if I knew where my nose was, I'd look under it; its probably there.)

Three systems:1) Media Composer Soft with SDI Mojo, HP xw8400 with dual 2.6 ghz quad-cores and 4gig ram with 1500 graphics card. Internal SATA for boot... [view my complete system specs]

Children are our future...unless we stop them now!

I might be wrong, but the best i can remember is that the "manual" for each effect is built into each effect.

Drop a BCC effect on a clip. Open the effect editor and then at the top of the effect editor click the "more info" button on the upper left.  This should open up info on how to use that effect.

    Re: BCC manuals?

BCC has some of the worst support support I've seen.  Even the 'info' it gives is often incomplete and they only have email support for the first 30 days of purchase.

It's a shame because I actually think their plug-ins have massively improved over the years.

But, for me, their support (or lack there of) but be the main reason I wouldn't buy it again.

     Hi,

You may want to try this http://artel-software.stores.yahoo.net/trainingdvds1.html

I have no idea what the DVD is like , I was going to buy it at the reduced price of $49.98 but they wanted $90 dollars to post it to the Uk.

Funny enough I was going to start a post about this very subject but seems you got there first.

If you are in the US the above link may be worth a visit.
