    how can I open a long 30i project inside my 23.97 project?

    Hi there, I am working inside a 23.97 project and need to edit parts from a long sequence now in a 30i project. I could eventually turn everything 30i if it is easier. However, I am trying both ways (even exporting EDL) but nothing works. What is the simple way to open and be able to play back / edit in this case? editing on a Media Composer 2.5 HP8200 Both projects were originally digitized at 1:1MXF Any idea? thanks

     I don't know about a whole sequence but you can bring in footage with a workaround (has been discussed before):

    Export a Quicktime Reference 29.97

    Open your 23.97 project. Open the console and type "Ignoreqtrate true". Then import the QT Reference file. Correct the speed (or not) with a timewarp.
