Hello,
I want to consolidate all the media in a project in a bin for archiving. It starts consolidating when I get this window:
"Can't delete mob because it is still being referenced. OK"
I have deleted and rebuilt the data base files (msnFMID.pmr and msnMMOB.mdb) in both the omfi and mxf folders on the media drives (this project contains both). I still get the same "mob error" window.
I'm open to any suggestions on how I can consolidate this project for archiving and have everyhing be there if I want to recall it.
Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks!
mas

Hiya,Sure thing... I'm running Adrenaline 2.7.5 on a PC hp workstation xw8200 dual 3.2 Ghz pent. 4... I'm consolidating to an external Hard Drive, Western Digital 250GB Fat 32 via firewire.Yes, rebooted several times, plus, deleted and rebuilt the data base files twice, as well as the "creating" folders as I read that tidbit somewhere on line too.I've archived 4-5 projects now that have consolidated very well, but I have two that come up with this "can't delete mob error" when trying to consolidate. It should be noted that both these projects are much larger than the others. I have all the media in one bin in each of the projects.I'm still new at the archiving process and it seems I remember someone mentioning big projects can give you trouble consolidating. I've been putting everything in one bin to consolidate... is there a (better?) way to do so with big projects?Basically I'm trying to consolidate the media in these two projects to archive to be able to delete this from the Avid media drives and have them available for possible later use. Thanks!
