Hi and thanks for you help in advance,
We just made the jump to HD in Media Composer, but have no way of outputting our timeline to our HD monitor without having to downgrade the format to NTSC. Needless to say, this looks terrible. We have a client coming in Friday and would like to show her how the film looks in HD on the big monitor. We are currently using a Mojo SDI, which I know won't do the trick. Do we have to upgrade to a Mojo that does HD? Does this even exist and if so, how much are we looking at here? Are there any third party cards or devices that will "play nice" with AVID and get us what we need? I've heard about the Black Magic Intensity, but as far as I know it's not AVID compatible. True? Help on this would be GREATLY appreciated ASAP.

A Mojo DX or, if you're REALLY rolling in dough, a Nitris DX. Currently those are your only choices.

perhaps you could rent an Adrenaline box with DNxHD card for the day. it would work perfectly with your 2.8 software. If you could even get your hands on a Mojo DX or a Nitris DX box, you'd have to upgrade to 3.0 to use them.
PS Mojo DX is $7500 but you'll also have to upgrade to 3.0 to use it. Nitris DX is considerably more but has more I/O options and real time DNxHD conversion.
Can't you do full screen playback with the Quadro?
Yes, but we wanted to use the bigger monitor for client viewing. Is there a way to have a third monitor (our big HD) running for fullscreen playback? I know it probably won't look good, but is it possible and do I need another graphics card to make it happen?
check these posts - very helpful...

Why dont you just screen through the deck with a short delay?
Eating is a moral act. If you eat meat from factory farms, you partake in a system of cruelty, violence and evil. Always take sides. To be passive empowers the oppressor.

We're talking HD here. That means (in your scenario) an HD deck. How do you get an HD signal from MC to that HD deck - in real time - without a Mojo DX or Nitris DX?

Good point Dom - except the poster does not mention DVC-Pro HD (nor do his specs). His previous posts are about HDV amd .m2t problems, so fair to assume that's not an option.
HDCAM? Or DVCPRO HD...?
If it is HDCAM how did you get it in the system in the first place?
