    Upgraded to Media Composer from Avid Xpress Pro and now at MC 3.0. Also added Avid Studio Toolkit 5.7 running on.....HP Compaq nw 9440 Laptop PC w/2 x... [view my complete system specs]

    The thing is don't peak too early in life. Currently at MC 3.0

    Nah, I LOVE meandering, as anyone who sits and talks to me will attest to.

    But I just saw (and read) "Into the Wild" and I have since learned that while meandering is fun, you need to keep a map so you know how to get back to where you started! Smile

     ...Nah, who needs a map. Here's what you do. Stay in the woods all night, then when the sun comes up wait until 3:00 PM. Point the Big hand of your watch at the sun. The little hand is now pointing North. So Nine O' Clock is now South. Guess what the Big hand is Stick out tongue Don't want to stay in the woods all night ? K.      EDIT: You could take Avid MC with you into the woods on an approved laptop. You could pass the night editing your latest project. Yes

    EDIT 2: Hey ! Avid could even organise back packing and orienteering camping trips into The Wild, and folks just need to bring an approved laptop along with MC 3.0 installed. It could be an editing and hunting and fishing usergroup expedition ! Yes
