Hello. Is it possiable in subcap effect set outline for letters? Effect is greate but with out this it useless.

 why useless?

You can put it in a box or have a drop shadow to make it more readable, or use an outline version of a font.

All our clients want only white font with black outline without any shadow or box.

Outline is normal future for any subtitle program now.

 you could maybe use the effect twice a fill and then outline font over the top, pain I know and limited to choice of font too.

I am using belleNuit and think this upgrade make this abolute and disappointed. Outline is basic option for subtitles.

for you maybe.. it is a fantastic very much wanted addition to the software.. it is the first release.. give them some time. Nobody said it would be a replacement for Belle Nuit?

I have to agree, though, that subtitles - at least in Europe - are expected to have both outline and dropshadow. Love Belle-Nuit for that (and more).

Good, so next thing is to use this thread as a feature request and see what else is needed. I am positive that if there are valid and good suggestions that Avid will try to include them... I will make sure they read the requests...
