    That was awesome.

It would be cool even to have Avid be happy with a Matrox solution - but if Avid wants to come up with their own hardware to let me monitor HD I'm there.  I'd put down $2500 easy for that.  The MojoDX is fine if you are dealing with tapes I guess....but I'm not.

What kind of CPU performance are you getting whilst rendering in SD and HD and in HQ or standard quality,

I'm typically am getting 40% accross 8 cores in a 1080i project at standard quality on a 3d transform, in HQ it only renders on one core.

In a SD project (PAL) I get less CPU usage.

....I'm getting 83 to 94% across 2 cores with an L2 Cache of 4 MB. I am almost always working in HD with HDV and I can clearly see two cores (Two windows in Windows Task Manager's Performance tab).

...No that's no typo. This is the number it says it is. I downloaded my upgrade from the Avid website. The website lists Avid Media Composer 3.0, but once installed it says 3.1.0.

Re: MC 3.0 End User Feedback

Interesting. I downloaded mine from the /protected website 2 days ago and it definitely says 3.0 on the splashscreen and the "about" I wonder what the difference is, and why there are 2 versions. Did you also upgrade from 2.8.x?

There is no 3.1.0 release. It's a typo someplace.
