    **SOLVED*** MC 3.0 install failure with unsupported config error

    OK during install I'm getting this error

    You are installing on an unsupported configuration, installation Ending.

    My OS is Vista Business 64bit
    6 GB Ram
    Nvidia Quadro FX 570
    Soundblaster Audigy

    Has anyone else seen this error yet?

    Was this a Vista upgrade installation (vs clean install of Vista)?

    Clean OEM install of Vista business on a brand new hard drive.

    I think if the installer detected an unsupported OS, it would say "This product is not supported on this OS."  But since it said "unsupported configuration" I think it may be hardware related?

     I worked with support and ended up uninstalling everything and deleting the avid folder and reinstalling. This worked and the install went smooth.

     I am updating from MC 2.8.latest to 3.0. the 2.8 version was runing but I get this same configuration error message.

    Could you be more specific?  "Uninstalling everying"---your OS and everything?  Since MC didn't install, there's no MC to uninstall, right?  Some more details and 'step-by-step' would be very helpful.
