I usually never download the goodies folder because theres never really anything thats been of to much of use for me. im not sure if i have ever used the hd plama wipes and to my understanding and past research, nobody on this planet knows how to use "the send to dvd studio pro" script
anyway i just downloaded it just to see if maybe there were any new "goodies" and when i looked in the folder i saw something very interesting that I would say is a quite unexpected but a very exciting "goodie" if it is there for why i think its there.
so theres a third folder now in the goodies download. the folder's name is m-audio. it contains a folder which is named fast track pro. this fast track pro folder contains a driver for a product call the m-audio fast track pro. m-audio fast track pro web page
this all seems quite interesting to me... if this does/means what i think it does/means... then i think i will be purchasing a fast track pro in the very near future....

I hope not, because it sounds to me only M-Audio audio interfaces will work. And they're kind of not the best you can get for your money.
I wish Avid would have documentation that clearly addressed this. In the FCP manuals, it's quite specific.
Why make it a grey area? Just tell us if audio interfaces work or not, and why.
while m-audio interfaces may not be the best for what you are looking for or want but to me its a huge improvement over mac built in I/O or through a freakin soundblaster card on the PC side!
