    2.8 to 3.0 projects

    I'm hesitant to upgrade to 3.0 as I am unsure if projects can be swapped between 3.0 to 2.8 and back. Worry not?

     So far, the only real migration issues have been due to unavailable or no longer available resolutions, but at the demo last Wenesday in Washington,the point was made that in 3.0 all previous resolutions are supported all the way back to ABVB, but many of the legacy rezs are playback only.

    During the 3.0 beta process, all of my 2.8 projects came over just fine into 3.0.  Have not tried to move any back to 2.8 on other systems, but I see no reason that should change.

    Just done it.  No issues with any projects so far.  Mainly P2 and DVcam media with some 1:1 SD.

    Thanks for the info! Based on the recommendations and some errors people are gettings I am going to do a clean install of Leopard and go for it.
